You will obviously have trouble to make conversation if you don't know how to say this simple phrase.
Maybe you learned "heel leuk" in class?
That's correct, but you should know Flemish has a lot of synonyms, both for "heel" and for "leuk"!
Let's have a look!
Like this, you will get combinations like:
't was kweenihoe plezant.
't was keitof.
't was supercool!
't is hier vree wijs.
't is hier echt zalig!
Dat was gemaan cool!
Da's echt vet!
't is ne vree geestige vent.
Da's ne keichique(n) auto!
't is hier vree plezierig.
't was superfijn.
It’s important to note that not everyone uses all of these words. Some are typical for youngsters (you wouldn't hear a grandma saying "echt vet"), others are specific to certain regions (vree wijs (Gent), gemaan (Leuven)), some are considered more general while others are very informal.
So it’s a good idea to go to your colleagues with the list and see which combinations they would make.
